As students we decided in the early hours of the morning to go from our halls of residence in Brooklyn to see the Statue of Liberty at night from a viewing point in Manhattan. We went through the station underneath the twin towers. For many years I had such a vivid memory of looking up at the twin towers in the night that I could just close my eyes and see them, however the memory started to fade so I tried to draw the memory.
