Faiza J. Saeed joined Cravath in 1991 and was elected as the firm’s Presiding Partner in 2016. She advises a wide range of public companies, boards of directors, and special committees in connection with M&A, corporate governance, and crisis management, including takeover defense and proxy contests. She also serves as a Trustee of The Paley Center, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and the William Nelson Cromwell Foundation, and on the Boards of Directors of the Partnership for New York City and The Paley Foundation. She is a member of The Council on Foreign Relations, The Economic Club of New York, and the New York Women’s Foundation.

Ms. Saeed is a recipient of numerous honors and awards from organizations including the American Jewish Committee, Asia Society, Jewish Theological Seminary, and World Economic Forum. She has a B.A. in Economics and Molecular Biology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1987 and a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1991.
