Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, who died last Saturday, appeared at the 9/11 Memorial Museum in April 2016, as part of the Museum's continuing series of discussion programs focused on the possibilities of interfaith understanding.

Presented in conjunction with the third annual Summit on Security, this week the 9/11 Memorial & Museum presented the public program “Are We Safer?”

Today, on Veterans Day, yellow roses were placed at the names of veterans on the 9/11 Memorial to honor their commitment to serve our country and protect our freedoms.

As our city and nation confront the current global health crisis, leaders from business, government, and the military gathered virtually on November 9 and 10 for the third annual 9/11 Memorial & Museum Summit on Security, presented by Fiserv.

The Summit will take place virtually on November 9 and 10.

Following the 9/11 attacks, Ronaldo Vega worked alongside his NYC Department of Design and Construction (DDC) colleagues at Ground Zero, helping to clear debris from the site. While working long and difficult shifts in the weeks after 9/11, Vega and some of his fellow recovery workers witnessed an inspiring testament to resilience.
