The OUR CITY. OUR STORY. podcast is back with season two. Each episode profiles a New Yorker, from the everyday to well-known, and explores the role 9/11 has taken in their lives.
In the premiere episode, we sat down with Danny Meyer, CEO of Union Square Hospitality Group and the founder of Shake Shack. The man behind famed New York establishments such as Union Square Café and Gramercy Tavern, Meyer reflects keeping his restaurant Eleven Madison Park open on 9/11 to serve the community and the rebirth of downtown Manhattan.
Following up the successful first season, in this season of OUR CITY. OUR STORY. we talk with notable figures like actress and Brooklynite Rosie Perez, news anchor Chuck Scarborough, “A Bronx Tale” actor and writer Chazz Palminteri, artists Eric Fischl and Manju Shandler, 9/11 survivor Helaina Hovitz and activist Marianne Fontana. A new episode will be available every Tuesday on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
