Museum Offers Variety of Workshops for School Groups
The 9/11 Memorial Museum offers a variety of two-hour classroom workshops that include a tour of different museum exhibits and a discussion or activity component in the Education Center.
All workshops, which focus on critical thinking on 9/11-related subjects, are limited to 30 students unless otherwise noted and require a chaperone for every 10 students. In addition, they are all differentiated by grade level and aligned with Common Core Standards.
Since its opening, the museum has served more than 4,600 students through its school programs.
