Memorial Registries Provide 9/11 Historical Records
The 9/11 Memorial Museum provides a variety of online registries that serve as historical records of survival, recovery and commemoration.
• The Memorials Registry enables you to track 9/11 memorials around the world, illustrating the diverse ways that individuals and communities honor the legacy of 9/11 victims. For each memorial, you can read the text of the inscription, view photographs and learn additional information. Add a memorial here.
• The Rescue and Recovery Workers Registry documents the experiences of participants in the rescue, recovery, investigation, cleanup and relief efforts after the attacks at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in Somerset County, Pa. Learn more about each worker and view a Q&A that explores their efforts. Join the registry here.
• The Witnesses and Survivors Registry includes the firsthand experiences of those who survived and witnessed the 9/11 attacks and the WTC bombing in 1993. For each individual who is registered, you can view a timeline detailing their 9/11 experience and a Q&A with additional information. Sign up to join the registry here.
