The Lens: Capturing Life and Events at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum
The Lens: Capturing Life and Events at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum is a photography series devoted to documenting moments big and small that unfold at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
The View: A total of 2,983 American flags, one for every victim of the attacks of September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993, was placed in the bronze parapets surrounding the twin memorial pools. Members of Team Red, White & Blue, a nonprofit organization that connects American veterans to their communities through physical and social activity, distributed the flags in honor of each victim listed on the Memorial.
