ESPN Documentary Explores Sports After 9/11
The 9/11 Memorial Museum’s newest special exhibition “Comeback Season: Sports After 9/11” has been drawing crowds and demonstrating how sports gave the country a reason to cheer again following the 9/11 attacks.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11, ESPN will air a primetime documentary special “Comeback Season: Sports After 9/11,” which offers extensive interviews with athletes, coaches and those in the 9/11 community and provides an in-depth look at iconic moments across U.S. sporting leagues in the weeks and months following the attacks.
