9/11 Memorial President Keynote at Tuesday’s Children’s Forum
This Thursday, 9/11 Memorial President Joe Daniels will be a featured keynote speaker at Tuesday’s Children’s Lessons in Recovery and Resilience forum.
The forum, held at Fordham University on Thursday, Sept. 15, will explore long-term healing in the 15 years since 9/11. Daniels will also sit on a panel discussion with leading experts in trauma, bereavement and global disaster response and recovery.
The 9/11 Memorial and Museum has worked closely with Tuesday’s Children throughout the years on programs and events for children whose loved ones were killed on 9/11.
"So much of what these children are learning now at the Museum and through Tuesday’s Children is a direct result of the experiences we had 15 years ago this week, and while these are difficult histories, it’s vital that we do share with the next generation and remember together through forums such as this," said Daniels.
